How does public innovation generate value for society? This panel will explore different ways governments rethink their work, respond to public problems and improve people’s lives. It will connect experimentation and service transformation with institutional learning, evidence and international cooperation, examining how each can contribute to more responsive and effective public action. The conversation brings together experiences from the United Arab Emirates, Brazil and the Dominican Republic with a regional perspective from ECLAC. The UAE contribution will explore how government innovation opens up new approaches to public challenges and improves the experience of people using public services. The Dominican Republic contribution will examine how innovation translates into practical changes in public management and service delivery.
